As part of the Council on the Arts, PicturePA, enables and promotes the traveling of Pennsylvania-originated exhibitions in Pennsylvania by enabling the registration of art exhibits online, providing fee-subsidy for the booking of registered exhibitions and resources to create traveling art exhibitions focused on the arts and artists of Pennsylvania. Picture PA builds an infrastructure for the arts; curators have a medium to publicize exhibits for loan, and arts organizations have a place to go to find exhibits to display in their galleries. PicturePA Profiles of member organizations also create opportunities for non-profit arts and culture organizations to learn about one another and develop relationships that enable sharing of exhibitions and curatorial resources. Most importantly, Picture PA enhances participation in the arts throughout Pennsylvania. Through traveling exhibits, Pennsylvanians are able to see art that otherwise would not visit their community. This increases the knowledge of the arts among the public, and along with knowledge comes support for a Pennsylvania that celebrates its artistic heritage.

The Arts in Education (AIE) program works through a network of AIE Partners – local and regional arts organizations – that provide regional services on behalf of the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts (PCA) to facilitate the AIE programs in their regions.
The AIE Partnership works to foster participation in the creative process in schools and community settings through artist residencies, projects and partnerships between schools and other educational institutions, artists and arts organizations.
This collaborative approach was implemented to better serve schools across the Commonwealth. It strengthens the efficiency and impact of AIE program while empowering local participation and leveraging local resources.

The PCA's Pennsylvania Partners in the Arts (PPA) is a program of local grant-making which offers two streams of funding opportunities: Program and Project Streams. Since its creation in 1996, PPA has demonstrated enormous success in achieving the PCA's mission and goals, which include fostering and promoting access to arts experiences for all the people of Pennsylvania by supporting the artists, arts organizations and infrastructures that deliver these experiences. PPA now reaches all 67 counties throughout the state.
